The first slaves in the "New world" were the indians whom were eventually replaced by the African civilization because of their lack of immunity to smallpox

The first slaves were the Indians. They were replaced because the Indians all died from a disease called "smallpox." After that, the next slaves were the African civilization because they were immune to the disease.

The first slaves in the "New Word" were the Indians but eventually a disease swept through called the Smallpox and it caused everyone to die. So they were replaced by the Africans from west Africa and the smallpox didn't effect them because their immune system could fight off the disease.
